Dealfinder now on

No primary category set

Back in mid December Dealfinder was introduced on Dealfinder has been running live on the site for most of 2007 but eBay have yet to announce it – so we thought TameBay should!

Dealfinder allows you to catch bargains about to end without a bid on eBay and searches items with your specified maximum price bracket that
* are ending soon (in less than 4 hours)
* have yet to receive a bid
* do not have a Reserve price
* have a flat shipping rate (including free shipping).

As well as finding items soon to end DealFinder introduces a sense of urgency with count down clocks below each item with grey turning to green for the last ten minutes and red for the last 60 seconds!

Sadly they have yet to correct the time formats and they’re using US style 02-10-2007 for today’s date instead of the UK format 10-02-2007. Hopefully they’ll correct this in the near future and then get on and publicise DealFinder.

All in all a good tool to encourage buyers to bid now instead of carrying on searching, but a few links on the site to inform them it’s available wouldn’t go amiss!
