Skype voice mail delivered to your mobile

Skype have partnered with SpinVox to make sure you never miss another important call. Skype will build in the capability from SpinVox to deliver voice messages as SMS text message or email to your mobile phone when you are away from your computer. Up until now there was no way to tell if you had missed calls on Skype while you were away from your computer. Now with Skype linked to your mobile you can be notified of the missed call along with the message immediately.

This is a significant step forward for Skype, moving voice messages away from a users computer to a device already routinely carried by millions around the world gives the service a much broader appeal, especially for the business community. Business users can’t always afford to wait until next time they log on to their computer to return a call.

SpinVox announced that in addition to Skype it has also established deals with Vodafone UK and Vodacom in South Africa.
(SpinVox PR team have asked us to remove the link to the announcement document as it was not the final draft. They will be supplying TameBay with the official press release later today)
