At some point over the last few days, unannounced as usual, a link to “My World” has appeared in My eBay on .co.uk. Currently it only points at feedback, but presumably this is an indication that My World, eBay’s new version of the “about me” page, is about to roll in the UK. Though the page itself (here’s mine) isn’t particularly inspiring, in the US at least it was linked to the introduction of eBay Blogs. These could be an excellent sales tool for many eBayers, keeping your buyers connected and involved in your business and more. We were promised them “sometime last year”, but we’re still waiting for that to come good.
We’re also still waiting for the introduction of Feedback 2.0, which was promised for last month. As many members have been reporting that it’s been impossible to leave feedback this weekend, it seems that this too may be being worked on.
Updated to add: UK blogs are go! I just managed to create mine. You can create yours here.

I think the uk myworld link feeding to the me page has been there for quite a long time (I’ve been checking it for weeks hoping for the day when I can transfer my com site page back to the uk). Re your myworld Biddy, I agree the ebay functionality is very limiting but you can do things with searches to help pull buyers back to your items, for example the searches to the right of my page , ( https://myworld.ebay.com/allotment )
take buyers back into my auctions and the ‘favourite’ site links to my other selling id.
OH! That searches thing is excellent – thank you!
A pleasure, cant think why others haven’t done it..
