I suppose that officially makes my Triumph Vitesse “one in a million” then!
It was my first major ebay purchase, and went like a dream from first bid to to driving it off the ferry from Holyhead. Sure, it rattles a bit (ok, it shudders like apollo 13 on re-entry if you try go anywhere near 70 mph) but it’s great fun and it was a perfect advertisment for everything that was good about ebay – Legitimate item, the excitement of a bidding war with a real opponent, a good final price, and buyer & seller satisfaction.
