I remember good old Billpoint 🙂 – so much more friendly than PayPal. Just a shame it wasn’t as successful in other countries as it was in the UK! 🙁

Yes, if I had of known about eBay back then, then I sure would have registered and started my dream back then. I will continue to “kick” myself for not doing just that.

Come, come, Dan! It was a darn sight better then cheques and envelopes stuffed full of cash! If the rest of the world had done as good a job in promoting it as the UK did eBay could have built their own PayPal instead of buying one :-p
We had a lot more fraud with Billpoint then we ever did with PayPal and they charged $25 to investigate every instance.
eBay was a lot more fun back then though.
