Please don’t tell me that sellers haven’t turned off at least the “Item Listed” email if not the whole lot 😛
LOL, I got a shock with my new ID yesterday when a whole stack of them turned up 😀
I don’t have the item listed email turned off 🙂
But then my software does read them for me and then delete them so it keeps track of exactly what is listed at any one time.
I don’t have the item listed email turned off either as I use it for checking purposes — but hey! ebay isn’t sending them to me at the moment anyway, so what the heck!
Oops, lost emails wouldn’t make for a rigorous management system 😮
I prefer to use TurboLister to see what I’ve got online at any time.
True, but I have contingency plans in case of lost emails (which doesn’t happen too often).
Turbo Lister is not much good at keeping track of stock listed in more than one place unfortunately, not that I would let it loose on my PC again anyway.
My TL keeps telling me stuff I have sold is still unsold, so I don’t trust it… I have my own excel sheets for most management stuff, but sometimes I want the original url for an item that is outside the limits for ebay sold item lists, and then I use either the unsold emails or the listed items ones, depending on which mail box got fuller and got purged by accident….
“My TL keeps telling me stuff I have sold is still unsold”
Are you sure you’ve let it synchronise? 😮
Yup.
And I’ve also recently unloaded and reloaded TL from scratch and it STILL doesn’t synchronise properly.
I can’t be bothered any more….:(
Lynne, have you tried the instructions at the bottom of this post? Works like a dream for me.
Well the item listed emails have now changed and, typically from eBay, the most useful bit of information (the item number) is now missing entirely from the email. Looks like that contingency plan is now going to become my main system for stock control. 🙁
