Hmmmmm, there is a bit of a UK forum discussion about the apparently excessive shipping charges !
I dunno Eddie, sure £100 sounds a lot, but then they look like they’ll top out well over the insurance limit for normal couriers. For instance the most that ParcelForce will insure a package for is only £2500.00
Chances are they’ll have to use a pretty costly delivery service rather than a bog standard one.
Looks ok to me. I wouldnt be surprised if the seller sticks it in his car and delivers it himself.
With regards to shipping high value items, some companies use their own insurance to cover shipping.
