Bridgeville in California is up for sale again having twice been sold on eBay in the past. The hamlet of eight houses, a school, postoffice and cafe is on the market after the current owner committed suicide last November.
The town was sold the first time on eBay in April 2006, for $700k, to Bruce Krall when the high bidder turned out to be a non-paying bidder. He then sold it on eBay to Daniel La Paille for $1.25 million in August 2006. Paille had started restoration work on some of the buildings and now the residents are looking for a new owner to complete the work.
The current sale is being handled by Bruce McNaughton from Realty World Main Street. Currently there are no indications that the town will be listed on eBay a third time.
