We know it’s been four months since we knew there was a problem, but we’re working on it!

That’s the message from eBay today to sellers and buyers still affected by checkout not applying discounts.

The issue has actually been known about since February with combined postage not always reflecting the discount a buyer should receive.

The question I’m dying to ask is how would Tesco cope if their till system had a bug for six months which led to customers being overcharged? Even worse some sellers have found they’ve undercharged customers and made a loss!

  1. WOW 6 months for an update – not bad by eBay standards LOL
    pity the fool who announced it in the first place and is probably seeking a job elsewhere !
    Couldn’t organise a booze up in a brewery could they !
