Traditionally the sunny August weekends are when most people are on holiday, others are off to the seaside for the day, or lazing over a BBQ in the garden. It’s a time of year when many eBay sellers are bemoaning their lack of sales and praying for rain which always brings the buyers back online.
There is one lucky seller that may have an unexpected boost to business this weekend. In the Guardian’s Home and Garden “Space Solves” section the question was asked how to remove ink stains from a new leather sofa. The answer given was to buy ethanol, or isopropyl from All Your Chemical Needs eBay shop!
I have to say it’s one of the best types of advert going – it’s not paid for, it’s a third party expert endorsement of your products and services. Now if next week they’d like to feature my eBay shop I’d be only too pleased!
