I’m not sure how this guy managed it! He’s just been convicted of selling laptops that he didn’t have, to 100 customers, receiving a 12 month suspended sentence and an order to return payments totaling £6935 to customers and PayPal.
The part that shocks me is that he’s reported as trading on eBay as aff_link("https://feedback.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll%3FViewFeedback2%26userid%3Dwhitefruit%26ftab%3DFeedbackAsBuyer","whitefruit","","UK"); ?>, and yet the user id hasn’t received a single negative or neutral feedback and has one withdrawn feedback way back in 2005.
You’d have thought just one of the people scammed would have left a negative feedback, or maybe buyers really are scared of negging non-performing sellers. If that’s the case the argument, to bar sellers leaving negs for buyers, has just been proved.
