PeSA, (Professional eBay Sellers Association) and ECMTA (E-Commerce Merchants Trade Association) have announced their 2008 eCommerce summit, which will take place in New Orleans this April. The three day conference looks set to be lively, with the new eBay President of eBay Global Marketplace Operations, Lorrie Norrington, to deliver the keynote speech.
PeSA have also announced that from now on all PowerSellers will be eligible for membership, previously only Platinum or Titanium PowerSellers qualified. Any PowerSeller attending the 2008 summit will qualify for $100 off the registration fee along with a years free membership of both PeSA and ECMTA.
With two full days of sessions covering everything ecommerce if you can make it to New Orleans for the 22nd – 24th April it looks to be a great event. Staying for the Friday gives the option to volunteer to build a house with Habitat for Humanity, at the week end the world renowned New Orleans Jazz Festival swings into action to round the week off in style.
