eBay sellers are reporting that items are vanishing from their Shops, only to reappear again minutes later. Item counts are significantly out too. Kate from Kattjen told me this afternoon “about 17% were missing in the shop and then when you refresh later they are back again. It’s been like a yoyo since I started checking!” The problem is not limited to eBay UK; Auctionbytes reports that US Store owners have exactly the same issue.
A thread on the PowerSeller forum [PS sign-in required] has a response from pink James, who says:
It appears that there is a known issue : Some sellers’ items that were listed on the evening of 4th March aren’t being updated properly in My eBay. This issue is intermittently affecting items with an item number starting in 19, 20 and 24 (e.g. 19#########). The tech teams are working hard to resolve this as soon as possible.
However, many of the affected sellers have said that their missing items relate to other dates, so it appears that the problem may be more widespread than first thought.
Updated to add: we’ve been informed that this has been fixed now. Anyone still having issues?
