Thanks for that Andy. We are experiencing this problem too. I hope it gets sorted soon.
With the amount of times that SMP goes down, I can’t believe so many people still rely on it rather than investing in, or developing their own, external order processing systems.
I feel this is especially necessary nowadays when a couple of neutral feedbacks can effectively leave you locked out of your eBay account with no way of contacting buyers to let them know what is going on.
Steve, what would you suggest and at what cost?

You can always contact your buyers if SMP goes down, it just takes a lot longer, but you can do it through the basic My Ebay interface.
If that goes down too, then you really are stumped, but no outside software is going to help you then….
