Goofbay have written today to all their members who received their latest newsletter apologising for sending them an eBay discount offer which wasn’t valid.
A member of the Goofbay team received a voucher code from eBay that he believed could be shared amongst all eBay members. He had one of their design team create the newsletter and emailed it to registered Goofbay members.
Sadly the offer was restricted to the eBay users that it was intended for and users soon discovered they’d have to pay full price for the purchases they’d made on eBay. Even the specifies the offer is limited to certain eBay users. Goofbay will have done ok out of it though – the voucher carried an affiliate tracking link 😉
In the email Matt from Goofbay said “I would like to offer my sincere apologies to all who this voucher did not work for. Goofbay is a well established and respected eBay affiliate and we have no intention of misleading you.”
Goofbay have a range of free tools for both buyers and sellers, and make their money through the eBay affiliate program which pays them for buyers and sellers they send to eBay.
(Although we’ve shown the voucher above please don’t assume it will work for you unless it was specifically sent to your eBay account)

Nothing to do with goofbay having the voucher affiliate tracked I’m sure.
typical goofbay. they are all about money and money only. dont care about customers or members. greed comes to mind here.. i hate goofbay and the way its gone. they are only online for money and affiliate earnings. every link and code they have is plugged with affil links. they have more respect for cash than they do their own members
Goofbay’s Tools have saved me a small fortune over the last year.
This is the first time they have goofed up and they were only trying to make people aware of a new PayPal voucher, if anyone bothered to read the terms and conditions they would have known if it would work for them.
There is hundreds of forums online where people share these vouchers, yet no one complains when those vouchers don’t work.
One small mess up in years of free ebay tools, Goofbay still rocks.
