vzaar have just published a video of their trip to eBay Live! and it’s brought back some fond memories.
Not only is Chicago a beautiful city with an amazing array of statues and sculptures (and it has a beach!), but ebay Live! was a fantastic event. Sure there wasn’t the normal love affair with eBay that’s been seen in previous years, but the attendees were in the main serious businesses looking to further their eBay operations.
It’s great to see some highlights like Lorrie Norrington bouncing onto the stage (and in fact upstaging JD), and some shots of the city itself – it’s far too easy to go to a conference and not make time to explore.
I’m so jealous the vzaar guys got to go to a ball game though, but I bet they didn’t get to walk 10 miles along the beach of Lake Michigan 😀
too much Bud or they managed to film during an earthquake
Great backing track! real uplifter! Buzzin man!
We aim to be kings of content, if not quality!
In all seriousness, in a start up its always work hard, play hard so great to see the team enjoying Chicago as well as the chance to mingle with sellers of all backgrounds and experience.
If you’ve not been to Chicago then do add it to your list of cities. When I say New York lite I don’t mean to belittle it but you have the great and interesting architecture like The Big Apple and the can do spirit without quite the same hustle and bustle that means you always feel like you are in someone’s way.
Now if only those fine folks at vzaar would fix their RSS feed, I’d find out about their recent posts direct rather than through tamebay…tut tut boys and girls!
Will, the atom one is working fine here:
