ChannelAdvisor are hosting a webinar in conjunction with eBay aimed at understanding the changes to eBay.co.uk Buy it Now and Shops coming this month.
The webinar will take place on the 22nd September at 1pm (BST) and will be hosted by Rafael Orta, Head of Seller Experience for eBay UK and Max Leisten, Senior Product Manager at ChannelAdvisor.
As well as detailing the changes this will be a great opportunity to ask any questions prior to the changes. If you want to know how to get your current SIFs rolled over to 30 day Buy It Now listings, what will happen to your SMP auto-relist rules or have any other burning questions sign up for the webinar as there will be time for Q&A at the end.

Surfers webinar on the changes to auctions coming up.
the FVFs are going up
End of webinar.
Rafael Orta, never heard of him
what ebay seller experience does this chap have !
bet he has not battered away at a keyboard for the last ten years listing on ebay and putting up with bulls lug buyers like we have
not to mention the patronising manner of ebay support reps
#2 I met Rafael before and he knows his stuff as far as the changes go. I wouldn’t say he’s been pounding a keyboard selling for the last ten years – you have that on him 😉
Why don’t you check him out? Sign up and ask a difficult question 😀
naw not me these webinars are excruciating
clunky and usually stage managed,
or at least ebays are,
I am certain he knows his stuff , his facts, figures, data, etc
but does he know and understand the practicalities
of selling on ebay
it dont matter to me anyhow I pay ebays fees gladly and dont really need to know much more
Sounds interesting, unfortunately Monday is my busiest day, so alas no time for webinars!
Gill,
How busy are you on Saturdays?
Join us at Smallbusinesss20.co.uk. eBay, PayPal and Channel Advisor will there.
And I will be too. ;o)
Code: free. For a freebie ;o)
Anyone who sells online for a living (or who claims to know all about it) should know that Monday is probably the day with least “spare” time. 🙄
#5 and #7 – and anyone else who finds it difficult to join the Webinar on a Monday – the session will be recorded and available to listen to online at a later date. Just register as normal and ChannelAdvisor will contact you with details as soon as it is available for download.
Thanks John – have done that.
Dan – I’m already signed up – see you there 😉
I am reading in the states that listing enhancements are being charge per item in a listing, for example a 30 day Multiple BIN with subtitle will be charged the Subtitle rate 15 times if you have a qaunitity of 15,,
Is this correct?
With regard to the new 30-Day Fixed-Price Format: “There are several things that eBay fails to mention with regard to the multiple listings in FP/30. If you have an enhancement to a listing that charge is multiplied by the number of items available….like listing on other eBay sites, highlighting, etc. Also if you change anything in the title of the listing the benefits of multiple items sold from that listing end and the count starts again. And I’m sure there are other nuanced fees as well.”
Well, that’s certainly what it says on Auctionbytes, Whirly. We’ll try and get a straight answer from eBay for .co.uk, but tbh it’s probably going to be one of those “list it and see” scenarios. I suspect that the US situation is a programming mistake, but I wouldn’t like to bet money either way.
Thanks Sue.
