It appears that there is a glitch on items using the Featured First enhancement where users are getting billed again for the feature if they make revisions to their listing.
The glitch has appeared on 30 day listings for which a 7 day Featured First enhancement was applied. When a revision is made (even a simple revision like adding more inventory to the listing) users have been charged a second time, but for a full 30 day Featured First fee.
eBay advised users to run long duration listings and to adjust the quantity as stock sells and is replenished but double dipping on fees, changing the Featured First option from a 7 day to a 30 day and re-charging, shouldn’t be happening.
If you have been using the Featured First enhancement and have subsequently adjusted the quantity available on a listing, check your invoice and make sure you haven’t been over charged.

Another thing to watch out for on 30 day Featured First…. if you add it to a Good Til Canceled listing part way through the 30 day cycle it’ll bill you for the full 30 days and then again on renewal. If you’ve only a couple of days left you’ll cop the full charge and then pay again when the listing auto-renews 😮

I try to respond but your spam filter is way too overzealous. It has already completely blocked all comments from my usual IP address. I apparently made the mistake of trying to correct one of my messages too many times.
#4 I know from experience Chris. Last week I added a featured 1st to an item with 13 hours left, I thought it said 13 days (my fault) I noticed 10 minutes later but it was late in the day and my AM had gone home for the w.end, it charged me £79.98 then 13 hours later it charged me £79.98 when it auto relisted.
I have been using 10+ Featured First a week since they launched, I have asked my AM to do a manual check on my last 2 months invoices and gave her a link to this post.
She’s a lovely girl and deserves a raise.
