Business Link have published some useful videos that offer general guidance and introductory information on starting up a business and getting your tax affairs in order. Hosted by Dan Snow, topics such as payroll for employees, starting a business and filing your tax returns are looked at in some not-totally-tedious videos. Which is probably just about as good as it gets. For people averse to reading reams of text, they’re just the ticket.
So, one cheer for putting the videos online and another cheer for making some good video content (even if the echoey room sounds as though they were filmed in the bathroom). There would be three cheers if they were displayed better on the Business Link website with a bit more thought and creativity: the current design is rather 2001. And while they were at it, why not set a YouTube channel* too?
* If there is a YouTube Channel, I couldn’t find it.
