eBay India & Singapore get seller discounts

eBay have announced that PowerSellers in India and Singapore will be eligible for discounts for cross border transactions on eBay.com, eBay.co.uk and eBay.de.

The discounts, starting in June, will be based on the site the seller sells most on to maximise savings. Sellers will only be eligible for discounts from one site and they’ll also have to meet the criteria for the site they receive the discount, although they can choose which site they receive discounts for.

With eBay starting to allow discounts for overseas sites it’s time they looked at sellers in the EU selling exclusively on eBay.co.uk, and also at UK based sellers who transact the majority of their business on eBay.com or other sites. Sellers who based in the UK who sell to the American market or vice versa get no discount at all and it’s time the situation was addressed.

  1. That would be fantastic news…

If they bring it for us cross border traders.

We sell on .com only and have 4.9 across the board except postage which is 4.8 and 100% feedback.

We sell mid to high end antiques.

So it would be nice if our service levels were rewarded by Ebay, the same as other sellers.
