Turbo Lister updates (it's actually good news!)

No primary category set

tlI spend a lot of time whinging about Turbo Lister, so it’s nice to be able to post about a nice new feature that just appeared in yesterday’s update.

Scheduled, Active and Ended Listings have all been broken down into some useful subcategories, so you can see at a glance – for example – what needs to be relisted, or which items have questions on them. It’s not quite turning Turbo Lister into a proper management tool, but it’s a step in the right direction.

Shoe sellers might also like to know that multi-variant listings are now do-able through TL: you’ll need to run the update first.

  1. Damn, I thought it was a MAC Update* 🙁

*Perhaps the most common question I got asked at the various eBay Universities over the years.

  2. Oh superb! Directory style is a really nice useful feature to have! Three cheers for Ajay and his team that build TurboLister 😀

  3. I see VAT is still not an option. I hope they have got the forthcoming change in hand.

  4. I want to be able update all my listings, including those with sales, to 17.5% VAT when it goes up.

    Cheers

  5. I wish I didn’t fall for this everytime. I have updated turbo lister having avoided doing it for ages and it is now broken. Whenever I try and update a quantity it tells me that the original sale was restricted….

  6. May sound like a silly question but I am new to TL2 and would like to ask “How do I run an update”?

  7. That’s great Sue. Thanks for your help. Just out of interest, how often should I be checking fot TL updates?

  8. i generally check every week or two, or when i know that there are changes (such as multi-variation) that will affect TL.

This update seems quite stable (fingers crossed!), but always ALWAYS backup AT LEAST once a week, so that your inventory can be restored if you have to uninstall it and re-install it (as i’ve had to do twice – it DOES happen, don’t think that it won’t happen to you.)

Back on-topic, i noticed that about half an hour ago, and thought it was probably something i just hadn’t noticed before (in over 6 months of using TL!). It’s nice to know that it actually wasn’t there before!

Although i’m not sure i like the ‘without bids’ one including all our fixed price listings!

  9. Surprisingly the Beta version of TurboLister (which I use) never seems to give me any problems. Not only do you get new features first, but it seems to be pretty stable and hasn’t let me down for years.

You can subscribe to the Beta from the program updates tab under options.

  10. Cheers Chris, I’ll check it out. By the way is that you in the photo?

Pic reminds me off Howard Lederer (If you know who he is) lol

  11. I’m running Beta. I always have to securely log in everytime I run TL though.

Anyone know how to alter subtitles, even on auctions with no bids? It’s the only thing that’s greyed out on TL and I have to alter subs in SMP.

  12. I wish they would do a TL for Mac, I pay for Garage Sale but prefered TL when I had my old PC. Jamie made me laugh, I think I asked every pink I saw at the old unis when they were doing TL for Macs.I was always told they probably would one day…………….

  13. now that returns are “easy” and all will pay by Paypal why is there still a feedback system that stresses the seller, also the relation between seller and buyer, why still fear of account restriction, why ………..

  14. Only tried TL2 twice, both times my PC ground to a complete halt. Would take a lot of persuading to ever try it again.
