CATEGORY: Payments News

PayPal are inviting all developers that work on charity projects to meet at their Richmond offices for Charity Hack 09.

PayPal, MissionFish and JustGiving as well as some yet to be announced charities will be showcasing their API’s (Application Programming Interface). PayPal will have a new Beta API and JustGiving will launch their API at the event.

The aim of the weekend will be to get feedback on the API’s and produce some open source applications that charities can use in their fundraising. The event will be held on the 19th – 20th September and is free to attend although places are limited.

Book, turn up with your laptop and any software development kits you use and they’ll provide everything from WiFi to food, tunes and entertainment while you code.
