eBay Adcommerce sales figures – if you're one of the lucky ones

No primary category set

eBay have announced some changes for Adcommerce which will be implemented from September 23rd. Most importantly, they’re beginning “ROI reporting”, measuring number of items sold, number of bids, sales amount and sales versus cost. For the first time, sellers will be able to see the effect on their sales of their Adcommerce campaigns.

Unfortunately, eBay aren’t releasing this to everyone: the new reporting is a beta test for selected sellers only. Quite why they’re only beta testing this now when the program’s been live for months and sellers have been asking for proper reporting since it went live, I wouldn’t like to guess. But if you’re one of the lucky ones, please send us a screenshot or two – we’d love to see what it looks like.

Sellers’ Adcommerce home pages are also being improved to include more useful information immediately on login. There’s a new “ticker” for high-volume keywords so you can see which of your keywords are generating the most traffic.

Other program enhancements include an ad creation wizard to make creating ads more straightforward, and improvements to the Adcommerce dashboard.
