eBay have updated the Seller Dashboard to display latest DSR scores including Top Rated Seller and PowerSeller qualification criteria.
Gone are the bar charts, including the incredibly annoying red lines telling you that you’ve dropped from 4.99 to 4.98 (which to be honest in the grand scheme of things was useless information) and in comes a more focused average DSR and how many 1 or 2 star ratings you’ve had.
Remember for Top Rated Seller qualification only domestic (UK and Ireland) transactions count – if you click the link to Top Rated Seller performance standards link you can see if you qualify in the US or for Germany, Switzerland and Austria. At the bottom of the page is a link for six month trending date and there’s also a handy “Last Evaluation” and “Current Performance” tab enabling you to see whether you are likely to qualify in the next period.
PowerSeller status and requirements are also now a link away from the main Dashboard and other sections such as “Policy Compliance” are now on the PowerSeller qualification page. “Search Visibility” is now on the Top Rated Seller page and the rather meaningless “Buyer Satisfaction” appears to have disappeared entirely.
The new Seller Dashboard is definitely an improvement on the old one, although prominent navigation links between the main dashboard page, Top Rated Seller page and PowerSeller page wouldn’t go amiss in the next upgrade. If you’re looking for navigation links they they appear at the bottom of the dashboard pages, but not on the Seller Dashboard landing page.
