Meg Whitman has officially confirmed that she is to run for the Republican nomination for Governor of California. The ex-eBay CEO has long been expected to announce that she’s standing to take over from Governor Schwarzenegger, having put $19 million of her own money into her exploratory committee. Whitman has promised to cut $15 billion in state spending and reduce the existing state workforce by 17%.
Most of TameBay’s readers, of course, won’t get a vote in California. So we thought we’d run our own little poll today. You may find some of the questions ever so slightly familiar….
