If you list music products on Amazon.com you might want to make use of the new Amazon Music loader they’ve created for Pro-Merchants. The Music Loader released today works similarly to the existing Inventory Loader and Book Loader.
The Music Loader template is a Microsoft Excel file that contains a preformatted worksheet in which you provide your product data for the items you want to sell. The file also contains tabs with instructions on how to complete the file, image information, the definitions of the data fields and how to use them, and accepted values for certain fields.
Once you’ve populated the file with your products they can be matched to the existing Amazon music catalogue. For new new items not currently in the catalogue product detail pages will be created automatically from the information you provide.
As well as a validate macro to check your data is complete the Excel file contains an unload macro to list your inventory directly on to Amazon.com. There’s also an import macro to quickly populate the Music Uploader with product data you may already have on other Excel files.
Whilst The Music Loader will undoubtedly make life easier for merchants listing on Amazon.com, that don’t already use third party utilities, I’ve not found a similar tool for Amazon UK. If anyone knows of one please add a comment with a link to the tool below.
