Put the 23 January 2010 in your diary. Small Business 2.0 is coming to town (Novotel London West, Hammersmith to be precise) and it’s the only event on the calendar dedicated to helping small businesses prosper on the Internet.
It doesn’t matter how small (or large) your business is, from a single person sole trader to a 500 employee ecommerce operation, Small Business 2.0 will help you grow your business. The event is being produced by The Conference People – they’re the guys who ran the eBay UK University events. It will be aimed at the person in your company who is at the decision making sharp end of ecommerce (as a sole trader that’ll be me!) and will cover everything from marketplaces to ecommerce websites and search engines to social media.
The conference will have keynote speeches from eBay, Google University, Microsoft/ Bing and one from Small Business 2.0 title sponsor BT Tradespace. Dan Wilson and Emma Jones from Enterprise Nation will be opening the conference and chairing many of the sessions.
Of course there’s also an exhibition hall and space for networking, and as always with this type of event chatting with your peers is often just as valuable as the official content.
