eBay have launched a brand new Delivery Services Hub in the UK with a raft of special offers from a variety of couriers and courier consolidators. Rather than being just the normal crowd they’ve also taken the time to source 2-man and large delivery carriers as well as specialist freight services.
There are some companies many eBay users will already know such as myHermes, Parcel2Go, DHL and Interlink as well as a brand new delivery service just launching this week called myParcelDelivery. myParcelDelivery’s unique selling point (apart from price) is that they offer services from a large range of couriers including DHL, UPS, CityLink, TNT and UK Mail.
The new Delivery Hub is sponsored by SafeStore self storage, who have 90 locations across the UK many with 24 hour access.
The biggest shocker for me is the absence of Royal Mail and ParcelForce from the Delivery Services Hub. Regardless of other couriers Royal Mail are heavily integrated into eBay Postage, are the one company which pretty much every eBay buyer and seller will use at some point, and their absence simply doesn’t make sense.
Regardless of the absence of Royal Mail the is well worth a visit, especially if you have any over-sized or the occasional International parcel to send.
Disclosure: myHermes and Parcel2Go advertise with TameBay

Royal mail probably did not want to pay the charge to advertise on the page
Maybe royal mail were put off by the word service?
Agree North.
The other point is that if you are a seller that has P&P charges @ 89p there is no one else.
Not knocking the ‘del hub’ but most high volume/long term sellers know most of the names already….
Still well done ebayUK for helping those that need it.
One interesting observation is that all hub advertisers have a minimum shipping charge that exceeds the shipping caps set by ebay in many catagories.
What do ebay make of this I wonder?
I think its main intention is to gain advertising revenue and to help ebay rather than help others,
if you are that daft that you cant do a google search for courier you really do need help
Also – forgive me but – that is the ugliest page I’ve looked at for a long time. Reminds me of Geocities c. 1997.
