Auto-Sync Twitter location with Google Latitude

CATEGORY: News

If you use Twitter and Google Latitude then vzaar have a cute application (nothing to do with video) to link the two together letting your friends know where you are.

The big question is of course do you want people tracking where you are and what you’re doing? If you already use Google Latitude then this is a cute app. If you don’t you probably don’t want to read any further 😉

For the app to work you need to have Tweet Location turned on in your Twitter settings you can then include location information like the town you’re in, or an exact point when you tweet. You’ll also need to be signed up to Google Latitude which allows your friends to track where on the planet you are. If you’re jetted off for business or are on holiday your friends can track you and it’s automatically updated from Google Maps on your mobile phone.

vzaar’s new app joins the two together so that when you post a on Twitter the Tweet location will be updated on Google Latitude. You can sign up for the Twitter > Google Latitude Syncer app on the vzaar website.
