Google have just released Google Commerce Search 2.0, which is search for your ecommerce website powered by Google.

New additions are simple ranking rules and the ability to give a boost to products, keywords or price, time-based promotions, and query autocompletion as well as a merchandising dashboard. Google Commerce Search 2.0 is available now in the US and the UK.

If you want to learn more watch the video or attend the Google Commerce Search 2.0 webinar to be held on 23rd June.

Once can only hope that eBay’s help page search might be improved as that appears to be powered by Google but often returns the strangest results possible!

  1. I saw this on their blog yesterday, sounds interesting, I thought…

However, when I looked under the pricing tab: “The pricing model for Google Commerce Search is based on the number of products/items (SKUs) in your catalog and the number of search queries entered on your site each year. Pricing starts at $25,000 per year.”

    Slightly out of my league!
