UK Cyber security challenge competition

No primary category set

A hunt for the UK’s top cyber security professional is being launched today, aiming to identify and nurture the UK’s future cyber security workforce. Research suggests that despite more and more businesses moving online the UK IT industry is facing a shortage of IT professionals due to a 50% decline in young UK residents entering IT careers.

Companies like eBay can’t function with ensuring the security of the networks, and although much of eBay and PayPal’s IT operations are based outside the UK of the ancillary companies that eBay sellers use from listing and management tools to courier consolidators are based in the UK.

Security of the software and websites we use to run our business is paramount, so if you’re working in IT whether it be eBay related or not why not try your hand at cracking the code for the initial online stage of the competition. If you manage to there will be a face to face playoff for the most successful participants in the virtual stage.
