Etsy goes international

No primary category set

Eiffel Tower - Paris - Black and White Glass Tile Pendant in Tray with chainHandmade and vintage goods marketplace Etsy announced some changes to their site earlier this week which should make shopping easier for non-US buyers. Prices are now shown converted to the buyer’s home currency, as well as in US$.

There’ll be a press and PR campaign aimed at drawing in more buyers for Christmas shopping, so if you’re making your own items (or selling to those who do) and aren’t already listing on Etsy, now could be a good time to give it a go.

There’s also dedicated support for European users from a team of six: a special hello to Amity who looks after the UK.

I absolutely adore Etsy and its amazing, creative sellers, so I can’t wait to see what they do next. If you’re selling on there, how is it going for you?
