Amazon.co.uk have announced the extension of free delivery to 17 EU countries including Italy, Greece, Norway, Spain, Belgium, Luxembourg, Poland, Sweden, San Marino, Netherlands, Denmark, Portugal and Finland. If the order is for more than £25 and qualifies for Super Saver delivery then it can be delivered for free.
Free delivery has been an important part of the great value Amazon shopping experience for many years and we are delighted to announce its availability to even more European customers in time for Christmas.
The aim is for European customers to be able to purchase anything they want to buy online at a low price from a vast selection of products. Now, tens of millions of customers in Europe can also benefit from delivery to their door, absolutely free of charge.

If you sell on Amazon in the UK this is yet another incentive to use Amazon FBA , as then your products will also be available to customers across Europe with free delivery. It’s not all good news though – FBA Export products can currently only be shipped to Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Ireland and Portugal. Also if you sell on Amazon but don’t use FBA then your products won’t be available for free delivery unless you choose to offer it yourself.
What free shipping across Europe will do is increase traffic to Amazon.co.uk and that should be good news for 3rd party sellers as well as Amazon themselves.
