SNAFU: eBay tracking number glitch affects Internet Explorer

There appears to be a problem entering tracking numbers for shipments into eBay today. The tracking form loads, but it is blank with no sales records displayed for tracking numbers to be entered.

The issue appears to be restricted to Internet Explorer, but if you use an alternative browser such as FireFox then tracking numbers can be entered. The glitch is affecting both on the bulk tracking number form and when attempting to enter tracking numbers on individual SMP records.

Hopefully this will be fixed soon, but in the mean time sellers will just have to mark items as despatched and either individually email tracking numbers to buyer or use Firefox to enter tracking numbers instead of Internet Explorer.

  1. Or better still, download the latest build of Chrome that has an extremely fast Javascript engine, and use that instead.

  2. My internet explorer 8 keeps freezing. How do I change my browser? Do I need to install another one and then change it my default?
