There’s still a couple of months to book a place for the EU ChannelAdvisor Catalyst conference which takes place in London on the 17th–18th May 2011. Already though the speaker line up is looking to make a very interesting conference.
The usual big three are well represented with Clare Gilmartin eBay VP Marketplaces, Eric Broussard Amazon VP International Seller Services and John Gillan, Google Senior Industry Retail Head all lined up to speak. In addition I’m looking forward to hearing from Richard Wilson B&Q Sales & Operations Manager, who joins the line up along with Martin Newman Practicology CEO and Jens Münch Goolge Strategic Partnerships Developer.
As normal Scot Wingo, ChannelAdvisor’s Chairman of the Board and Co-Founder will be providing the keynote address covering the state of multichannel e-commerce and all of the trends, industry changes and innovations that will influence your business.
This is undoubtedly the best opportunity to meet eBay execs this year and Catalyst has always been one of those events where the networking with peers and industry colleagues is on a par with the formal content. Although there are many ecommerce expos during the year Catalyst is the only one focused on marketplace trading and the event to attend.
If you are going to Catalyst it’s worth booking your hotel early to ensure you’re local to the event for the Catalyst Cocktails on the evening of the 17th and the inevitable migration for food and further beverages later in the evening!
