Royal Mail start to accept mail for Canada

No primary category set

Now the Canadian postal workers are back to work Royal Mail have today started to accept parcels destined for Canada. However if you are sending items to Canada you’ll still need to communicate with your buyers to let them know that there are likely to be delays for the next week or so due to the backlog of mail.

As well as mail held in transit to Canada there will doubtless be an influx of mail that has been held back from despatch which could also lead to delays over the next few days.

  1. Almost immediately after the Royal Mail announced that they were once again accepting Mail for Canada I sent a packet containing 2 Books to Canada. It has arrived with apparently no delays at all(or only the most minor of delays) So perhaps things are sorting themselves out.
