House of Fraser is holding a two day flash sale on the eBay Fashion Outlet offering up to 75% off across the whole store. Grab an additional saving on your favourite House of Fraser fashion lines including Biba, Episode and Therapy, as well as designers in stock including Michael Kors, 7forallMankind and Moschino.
House of Fraser recently signed up to use ChannelAdvisor’s Marketplaces platform to sell on eBay so they’re taking it pretty seriously. This also isn’t their first flash sale on eBay, but the last one was (in comparison to up to 75% off) a paltry 20% additional discount.
The question is who does this benefit most? Is it good for House of Fraser to shift some excess stock or is it good for eBay as it’ll bring more buyers to the site? If it brings new buyers to the site will they be the type of buyers who might also shop with you and me? Hopefully offers like this will attract the type of buyer who previously wouldn’t have considered making a purchase on eBay but will be tempted with the House of Fraser offers.
Regardless what you think of eBay and House of Fraser’s strategy is you’re in the mood for some new clothes or fancy bagging a designer handbag at a knock down price then . There are some real bargains to be had!

They have certainly got a good chunk of the homepage. I wonder what there sales value will be for the two day period.
There doesn’t seem to be any mention of eBay on the House of frazer site or on there social media sites, which I guess is understandable.
I’m sure the official line will be different but I can’t help but to think that the last 3 years of direction for eBay have been a failure.
