  1. I could not recommend Gumtree at all. We have ran a couple of deals with them and our experience has not been good.
While it does encourage a good number of sales in a small space of time, the % cut that they take means you make very small profits. This would be bearable if we could get paid from Gumtree. 7 weeks after first advertising with them and after sending out over £4,000 of products we are still fighting with them to get payment which has now been promised within the next 5 days – we shall see!!!
On a side note I’m looking for software to automate our PayPal account with shipping software and RMDMO and also stock control etc. We have used Aimco’s packing partner for the last 12 months but need something that will integrate more with RMDMO and also offer more in the way of stock management and offline sales inputs. Any ideas?

  2. I have beeen using Gumtee and ebay both, but I do only suggest ebay as a good website for selling products. I have sold many of my products through ebay and I am actually growing my business. 🙂
