The President of PayPal, Scott Thompson, is leaving eBay Inc to become the CEO of troubled web service Yahoo!. Thompson’s departure is effective immediately and eBay Inc. CEO and President John Donahoe, will serve as interim PayPal President until a successor is appointed.
Richard Brewer-Hay of the eBay Ink blog, reports an email that has been sent to all Paypal staff. It’s the usual corporate guff.
