There’s nothing quite like an unmistakable miracle image on a piece of toast, a potato or a pretzel to get an eBay auction some publicity. The current one is no exception, except this time it’s not Sarah Palin, the Virgin Mary, or Jesus, the latest offering is none other than a .
You might be mistaken for thinking the likeness at best needs a fair amount of imagination, but just so you can’t be mistaken the seller has carefully labelled the image to bring out Washington’s features.
Happy bidding, it’s only up to $3,150 but the seller is hoping to raise $15,000 for their local Family Worship Centre. Don’t plan on eating the McNugget though, eBay have already pulled the auction once for selling food past it’s expiry date, but they’ve relented and allowed it to be relisted.
Shame they’re not using eBay Giving Works (the eBay.com equivalent of eBay for Charity) though, then we’d be assured the money was going to a good cause.

just shows the lengths so called charitable people will go to get money out of you
The do say that Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I certainly cannot see George Washington(even with the labels) in what looks to me like an ordinary Chicken McNugget. Just about every similar McNugget shares the same features so why bother buying this one when a trip to your local McDonald’s will allow you to buy dozens at cost price(and then eat them-without any chance of a very upset stomach).
It’s a dead ringer! I can see George Washington. Next week, John Adams.
Once it goes green and mouldy, they can re-list it as the incredible Hulk.
Unsurprisingly it appears that the winning bidder isn’t prepared to cough up the $8100 they bid.
Why would eBay remove the listing for being past the expiration date? This is one of those foods that never expires. There are even documentaries about this.
