ChannelAdvisor have announced that Michael Jones, eBay Vice President of Merchant Development, will be a keynote speaker at their annual Catalyst conference in Las Vegas due to take place on the 16th-18th April this year.
It’s worth remembering that Michael (known as “MJ”) is well known to many ChannelAdvisor clients – he used to work for the ChannelAdvisor up until 2010 so will be familiar with the demands and interests of the Catalyst audience as well as having gained experience of what eBay are looking for from their merchants and the difficulties merchants have trading on eBay and still turning a profit.
The theme of ChannelAdvisor Catalyst this year will be newcommerce – it’s commerce anytime, anyplace and on any device. With e-commerce, m-commerce, f-commerce, local, group buying, international purchasing consumers today have access to more channels than ever before. Catalyst will aim to help retailers map their way through newcommerce and maximise the opportunities for the year ahead.
