iContact now integrates with LinkedIn

Social Media interests me and from my observations Facebook and Twitter are more “social” and LinkedIn is more “business”. That’s why it was good to hear that iContact have expanded their service by integrating their email and social media marketing technology with LinkedIn.

The new integration lets iContact clients add LinkedIn connectivity to their email marketing campaigns, allowing recipients to easily share email content via the business-focused social network. The service also allows users to schedule and track the success of posts to LinkedIn enabling marketers to launch time sensitive campaigns via the social network without being tied to their computer.

In addition to the new LinkedIn feature, iContact already allows email recipients to Like, Tweet, Share, or Google +1 any emails delivered via its service.

John Hayes, iContact’s UK man on the ground said, “We are very pleased to announce the launch of our LinkedIn integration. This new integration will prove particularly popular with our B2B marketing clients who can now use the service to extend the reach of their email marketing lists and monitor the success of their LinkedIn activity”.
