Are you experienced in purchasing and managing an online ecommerce business? If so then a leading online retailer based in West London has a career opportunity that may be of interest to you.
They’re looking for a Deals Exec to coordinate their deals program which will involve everything from buying to managing calendars of deal activity, working both with third party partner channels and the internal marketing team. You’ll need to be able to build relationships with new and existing suppliers in order to source deal-appropriate stock as well as manage risk for the business by negotiating consignment, stock reservation and sale or return agreements.
Ideally you’ll have experience of buying and/or trading, with exposure to discount buying, clearance buying, deals buying or spot buying and the home and garden product category. You should be familiar with the deals programs on sites such as Groupon and eBay and understand how they operate and the dynamics of these marketplaces for particular product types.
