Following the success of the London eBay Seller’s Meetup last month, iwoca who host the Meetups are taking it on tour.
As all future Meetups won’t be in London they’ve started a new group, The UK Online Seller Meetup and on the 18th of July they’re heading to The Seven Oaks in Manchester. Although I’ve never been there it looks like a pretty good pub with a function room that can hold 40 people. Seeing as there were about 50 at the last London Meetup I’d book early to ensure you get a place.
The Meetups are going to travel around the country with the two after Manchester on the 18th being scheduled for London on September the 12th and then Birmingham on October the 10th.
If the Manchester Meetup is half as good as the last London event then it will be well worth attending. The format is some short presentations for about half an hour to stimulate the start of some discussions, and for the rest of the evening it’s a chance to chat to network with other online sellers and relax with a beer or two.
