There seems to be an issue with Item Specifics, Item Condition, Returns Policy and Postage on some listings. Definitely there are many on eBay with them missing, but it’s not a global fault.
This eBay glitch is even over-writing the mandatory fields, for instance in most categories it’s impossible to list without an Item Condition being entered. The glitch however doesn’t care about “mandatory” and is leaving the fields blank.
Falling in the summer holidays the glitch couldn’t come at a much more inconvenient time, although I guess Christmas would be worse. Just as sellers want to to on holiday, take the weekend off, watch the Olympics and enjoy the sun they’re going to have to answer some of the most basic questions going such as “How much will postage cost?”.
This will be even more frustrating for those on holiday who have listings scheduled to run ready to ship items on their return. They’ll either not sell a thing or will end up with a load of unpaid items or items paid for with no postage costs included.
eBay customer support are apparently aware of the problem with however they do not have an exact timescale when the problem will be resolved or how much data will be able to be recieved. It is a ‘high prority’ for them and they have said it could be as little as 4-5hrs or possibly several days to rectify the fault.
From experience of similar faults editing listings to add the data back in is often is a waste of time as the corrected fields promptly clear themselves again. All we can advise is to keep a close eye on your listings, be prepared for a deluge of questions from your buyers if yours are affected, accept that sales may be down, and step up customer support.

Just correcting all my scheduled listings now 🙁
The problem is back again this morning
Reading the eBay forums tonight and it seems eBay have been ending listings affected by this glitch without asking sellers.
What a shambles.
