No one wants to buy Corrie star’s dress

Former Rosie Webster of Coronation Street star, has dipped her toe into eBay selling and found out that it’s not always as easy as it might seem.

Having opened an eBay account in July and purchased four Miss Sixty items at prices ranging from £1.60 to £12.00 on eBay she decided to try her luck as a seller. You’d think with over 100,000 followers on Twitter where she announced her sale “Calling eBay freaks like myself 😀 xxx” she’d have attracted a few bids, but it looks like the start price of £150 for a La Perla dress was just a little too high.

Even posting a photograph of herself wearing the dress on a night out wasn’t enough to get the bids rolling in and no one was keen enough to hit the Buy It Now button for £320.00. Perhaps she’d be better off either starting with 99p no reserve items to get more used to selling or maybe use a trading assistant with more experience to get the bids rolling in.

  1. Using a few more keywords, such as her name & associations, with better descriptions might help to sell.

I’d also list a few items for charity, although times must be hard, as her feedback suggests she didn’t pay for a £4.99 skirt
