Amazon have teamed up with JibJab to offer electronic gift cards this Christmas. Using one of a variety of online templates, you can upload a digital image of yourself, if you’re giving a gift, or the recipient.
That image is then transferred into your template of choice offering a cheeky little vignette to delight the person receieving the gift. It hardly seems like a revolutionary idea (indeed there have been numerous similar systems in the past) but the result is rather pleasing and certianly cheers up the otherwise sterile experience of receiving an electronic voucher as a gift.
