Since it was announced in December that the eBay Tickets category will be powered by StubHub in the near future, a number of sellers have raised concerns, not least of which has been regarding the current 25% selling fee that StubHub takes.
We’re pleased to say StubHub have been listening and planning to make the migration as painless as possible. They told Tamebay today that they understand there has been uncertainty around selling fees with the move to integration with eBay and that they’d like to reassure the seller community that we are committed to bringing our sell fee in line with eBay before the ability to list tickets on directly on eBay is removed. This will happen in Q2 2013 although exact timings are yet to be confirmed
StubHub are committed to serving our customers on both the seller and buyer side and as a dedicated ticket marketplace, StubHub makes it quicker, easier and safer to buy and sell tickets. It’s certainly a much better buying experience than the current eBay solution with much greater options for buyers to collect tickets directly from StubHub or to have them delivered in advance by post if they prefer.
If you are a large ticket seller on eBay and would like more information you can contact the StubHub seller support team by email at [email protected]. We’ll also update on Tamebay as soon as more information becomes available.
