If you’re wondering what to do for the four days of Easter (and let’s face it the weather isn’t likely to be up to much!), eBay have the solution – four days of free listing.
From Friday 29th March to Monday the 1st of April private sellers will be able to list up to 100 items on auction with a start price of £1 or more with no insertion fees.
All the normal terms apply, your account must be in good standing and reach minimum seller standards. No professional listing tools either – use the Sell Your Item form or eBay’s mobile apps.
Full terms and conditions for the aff_link("https://pages.ebay.co.uk/promos/0IF_130329/index.html","Easter free listing promotion","","UK"); ?> are on eBay, so check before you list.

Usually these “Free Listing Weekends” appear in the ebay News Announcements. But this weekends does not. So it is likely that many Private Sellers will not realise that it is happening…Unless they are also readers of Tamebay.
I must admit that I cannot see any reason why ebay would not announce the “Free Listing Weekend” to its Private Sellers through its own Announcements.
It was announced quite early in the week at

There have been threads on the discussion boards about it, emails sent out to private sellers and it’s currently on the eBay homepage.
So I’m afraid that my category, for one, will be “boosted” by additional listings as usual, especially with four days in which to use up the 100 allocation.
There is indeed a page about it on eBay if you look for it, but I think what Chris T is saying is that it is NOT showing up in the ebay Announcements FEED on ‘My eBay’ which is what a lot of us rely on – luckily I also read Tamebay otherwise I would certainly not have spotted it.
Five days of zero insertion fees on fixed listings for business sellers, by invitation only, next week (15th to 19th of April)
Thought these might have stopped so delighted to see the offer repeated.
