Friday was the first day of eBay’s 70% off sale and from the 100 listings they had available by midnight over 9100 and £460,000.00 worth of merchandise had been sold.
Best selling item by value were the Apple iPad Mini (in black or white) for which 627 units sold for £144,203.00. Most popular product was the Womens Birkenstock Relax Sandals of which 1,127 pairs were sold.
Surprise of the day on Friday was the iPhone 5, looks like Apple lovers just weren’t prepared to shell out £499.99 as not a single iPhone was sold.
The Weekend Spectacular sale continues today on eBay, many of yesterday’s products are still available, but they’ve been topped up for Saturday with scooters, play houses, an and garden games – , giant connect four for £14.49, , and all look like bargains!

I was desperate to buy something this weekend. I bought the 5.99 double foot pump and what a great deal it was.
But ebay need to come with new ideas like that than the same old same old.
I tried to use it but the whenever I went to the home page over the weekend that part was blank. It may have been an issue with my browser or PC.
Anybody know how to have your products featured on these promotions? I was given an email from ebay which doesn’t work.
